Alumnus Shawn McKinstry of Hillsdale College had a spectacular weekend at the Gina Relays, splitting 1:53.9 for the 800 on Friday and coming back on Saturday in 1:55.82.

2005 Morris County Championships
The Trinity Christian School Track & Field Boys team surprised most observers by taking the plaque for first place for Small Schools at the County Championships. Trinity's points were scored by Shawn McKinstry in the 400 and 800; and Andrew Hanko in the 1600 and 3200.
