Meanwhile, at the Randolph Relays....

While the rest of the team was at the MCAA/Ringwood meets, four of our high school men competed in the Randolph Relays. The foursome of Peter Smith (1200), Ben Rumeau (400), Jared Freire (800!) and Jared Hanko (1600) won the Jack Webb Distance Medley Relay in our division in a time of 11:23.21. I like to enter this meet and run this event because Jack Webb was a teammate of mine at Colgate University in the early 1970's. They also competed in the 4 x 200 (7th in 1:40.36) and 4 x 400 (6th in 3:48.24) relays.
