College Updates

Andrew Hanko, now a junior at the United States Naval Academy won the Navy Invitational on Saturday, September 12, running the 8k course in 24:37. He led a strong Navy team to victory over eight other teams. Navy had an impressive showing, with the top five in a 31 second spread, and the top seven in 43 seconds. Jared Hanko ran his first college race for Seton Hall University on Saturday September 5, 2009. Jared came in first on his team, and 23rd overall in the Monmouth XC Kickoff meet in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Jared ran 20:20.22 for what we presume was a 6k distance race. Shawn McKinstry has been named co-captain of the Hillsdale College Chargers cross country team (click here) No meet results are available yet, though they had a scheduled meet last Friday.
