Morris County Championships Day One

Jared Hanko led the way for Trinity today with a huge 1600 PR, coming in sixth with a time of 4:22.04. Jared Freire also placed, coming in sixth in the 400 in 52.47, running out in lane 7.

Other personal records: Peter Smith 4:53.20 in the 1600; and Aaron Hanko 5:05.15 in the 1600.

Other results from this afternoon: Christian Stempert ran 12.57 in the 100; Ben Rumeau 55.00 and Paul Sullivan 56.12 in the 400; and Jared Hanko 132'01" and Peter Smith 121'07" in the Javelin.

Up tomorrow: Highlights should be Jared Hanko in the 3200, Jared Freire in the 200; and an attempt by our 4x4 relay team to go after the school record of 3:36.07, set in this meet four years ago by Josh Smith, Andrew Hanko, Nathaniel Smith, and Shawn McKinstry.
