You do not need to go to Cooperstown, New York (baseball) or Columbus, Ohio (football), or even Waco, Texas (Texas sports) to visit a Hall of Fame. The National Track & Field Hall of Fame is located at the New York Armory, where Andrew Hanko has run so many good races.
