Jim Lambert's Preview of the Meet from the Star Ledger: CLICK HERE
===============================
TCS will be competing in the State Group Meet this Friday and Saturday. At this point, we expect the following to compete:
Friday: Josiah Hanko in 1600
Saturday: Jonathan Campbell in Discus and Javelin
Saturday: Aaron Hanko in Triple Jump
Saturday: Josiah Hanko in 3200
Saturday: Our 4x400 relay team.
There may be changes or additions. For instance Josiah also qualified in 400 and 800 but we do not expect him at this point to compete in those events. We may change based on race-day conditions and entries.
Some who have qualified will not be competing. For instance, Paul Sullivan qualified in both high jump and long jump but his knee injury prevents him from competing in this meet.
The meet program/performance lists may be found here: CLICK HERE
Directions to the venue for this meet:
SOUTH PLAINFIELD: FRANK JOST FIELD
1. GSP South exit 135 - make the first right on Central Av (towards Westfield)
2. Make a quick left on Raritan Rd (CR 607)
3. After you cross Rahway River bridge (about a mile) bear right to stay on CR 607 (now it's Oak Ridge Rd). You will pass a golf course on your right and enter Middlesex County
4. Make a right at the end of the road onto Inman Ave for about 2 miles
5. At the end of Inman make a left on Old Raritan Rd (CR 509), which after intersection with Park Ave becomes Maple Ave. The track is on the left 2 blocks after Park Ave.
NOTE WHEN COMING BACK: Oak Ridge Rd actually becomes Feather Bed La in Middlesex Co. (so look for that name when coming back on Inman).
