Ed Grant to be honored at NY Armory

Ed Grant is to be presented with the Stan Saplin Sports Media Award at the New York Armory next Tuesday, February 23. The Armory website sets forth that: "The Stan Saplin Sports Media Award is presented annually to a journalist, public relations professional, executive, filmmaker or broadcaster who has made a significant contribution to the promotion of the sport."

Ed has been covering Track & Field in our state for 66 years (!), and has been very kind to highlight the results of our school (for a much shorter time). We consider him a dear friend.
